When using already prepared warm chicken broth – dissolve a tablespoon of Cornstarch into COLD Water. Add this to the chicken broth and bring to a boil, simmer until thickened. Repeat until desired thickness is achieved.
To prepare from scratch using powdered base – To 2 litres of Cold water, add 1 scoop of soup base plus 1 tablespoon of Cornstarch. Stir the powders into the water and then heat to a boil and simmer to allow the liquid to thicken. If you need a thicker gravy dissolve additional cornstarch in cold water and add to the gravy until you achieve the desired thickness.
